2014 九月當我情緒陷入低迷時，在網路上發現了telfish的造釉細胞瘤的治療過程，
令我十分振奮的是，原來還有另一種治療方式，我欣喜若狂，
在telfish的信箱留言，他很快就回覆我，並且很客氣和詳細的回答我的問題，
我簡直不敢相信，這是上天對我的眷顧嗎?
原本在得知這種病時，我難過、不知所措，甚至哭過好幾回，
總覺得上天對我開玩笑，這只是一個良性瘤，有必要切除嗎?
而且還要切除神經再裝上假牙，這總總一切都無法接受。
直到遇到telfish，以他親身例子告訴我並鼓勵我，
造釉細胞瘤並不可怕，它並不是癌症只要徹底將腫瘤切除乾淨就沒事了，
日後還是有健康的身体，這時心裡才大大的釋懷，
並且以更積極正向的態度去面對和治療。
以telfish在長庚的治療過程，和R教學醫院的方式完全不相同，
經過評估之後，我決定改到長庚先掛口腔外科張陽明醫師和整型外科魏福全醫師的門診，
因為在長庚是初診，之前在其他家醫院雖然有copy斷層掃描片子，
但系統不合所以根本開不了，因此在長庚就必需要重新再照全口X光以及斷層掃描片，
這樣來來回回又花了將近二三個星期的時間，但心裡確踏實了許多，
知道這樣的治療方式對處理造釉是一勞永逸的方式。
口腔外科的張陽明醫師看了我的片子，指著片子說基本上應該會切除五顆牙，
因為腫瘤的位子非常接近下顎骨所以為了防止再復發，
建議全部切除下顎骨比較保險，之後會植入鈦金屬片固定住，
再取左小腿腓骨移植到下顎來，若有切除到神經也會取部份神經做移植。
聽著張醫師仔細的說明手術的方法，讓我心裡也有個底，
總覺得交給張醫師我很放心。
長庚的治療方式是口腔外科先進行腫瘤切除和整型外科做顯微神經的重建，
這需要二科的團隊合作才能共完成的手術，手術時間長達12小時，
之後張醫師幫我掛了整型外科魏醫師的門診，
隔週再到魏醫師門診一同確定手術的時間。
When I felt upset in September, 2014, I found telfish’s Ameloblastoma treatment on the internet, I felt encouraged because it turned out there was another way of treatment. I commented in telfish’s mail, he replied me quickly, politely and with lots of details, I couldn’t believe it! At first I knew this symptom, I was so upset, I even cried several times. I felt like being fooled, it’s just a benign neoplasm(良性腫瘤), must it be cut off? Furthermore, the nerve(神經) should be cut and I would need to wear partial denture, I just couldn’t accept everything.
Until I met telfish, he encouraged me with his own experience, Ameloblastoma is not scary, it isn’t cancer, just cut it off completely and it will be fine. I could still have a healthy body, I finally felt relieved and face the treatment with positive attitude. Telfish’s treatment at Chang Geng Memorial Hospital was totally different from R Hospital’s, so I decided to find Chang Geng Hospital oral surgery clinic’s Dr. Chang and plastic surgery clinic’s Dr. Wei. It’s the first time seeing a doctor at Chang Geng Hospital, although I had done the CT (Computed Tomography) in other hospitals, but because the system was different, so I needed to do it again here, it took me couple weeks, but I felt a lot more steady and sure, because I knew this way of treatment was once and for all.
Dr. Chang saw my CT photo and said basically they would cut off 5 teeth, because the neoplasm(腫瘤) was very close to the mandible(下顎骨), he suggested to cut off all of the mandible(下顎骨) and insert a piece of titanium to make it fixed. Next, take the left leg fibula(腓骨) and insert it to the chin, if the nerve(神經) was cut, they will graft(移植) part of the nerve(神經). I felt relaxed to hand everything to Dr. Chang. The treatment was the oral surgery clinic cuts off the neoplasm(腫瘤) first and the plastic surgery clinic did the reconstruction of micro nerve(微神經重建). The whole operation would last for 12 hours, it needed two medical teams together to complete. Dr. Chang told me to see Dr. Wei and discuss about when to do the operation.
